OnePlus Nord 2 5G|Android Mobiles

About One Plus-

Everyone saw a peek of OnePlus retracing its steps back to the flagship killing days when the original Nord was introduced amid considerable hoopla. Since then, OnePlus has released a number of forgettable devices that never made it to India, as well as the pretty mediocre OnePlus Nord CE 5G (review), which failed to live up to the Nord's hype. However, the OnePlus Nord 2, which was released earlier this year, comes with several improvements over its predecessor.

In India, the OnePlus Nord 2 competes with the likes of POCO and Realme, starting at Rs 27,999. The OnePlus Nord 2 has a tough task ahead of it, given the prominence of these manufacturers and their offerings, such as the POCO F3 GT and Realme X7 Max. While the OnePlus Nord 2 was released in July 2021, I wanted to see how it performed over time. Let's see how the Nord 2 holds up over time now that we've used it frequently for a few months.

The original OnePlus One retailed for Rs 21,999 when it was released in 2014. Despite a few problems, it appeared to be a fantastic deal when compared to other 'flagship' phones, which are the most expensive. The situation has altered over time, and OnePlus has determined that they don't have to settle for super-affordable powerful devices any longer. It was time to boost the ante now that they had proven themselves.

The OnePlus Nord 2 is a significant upgrade over last year's Nord and one of the most impressive successors we've seen in a long time. It has improvements in practically every aspect, and for the first time, the phone also excels in the camera department.

The Nord CE was recently launched in India, and it covered the Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 pricing range, nearly guaranteeing that the Nord 2 would be priced around Rs 30,000, which it was. OnePlus is taking another step forward with the OnePlus Nord 2, much as it did with the number series.

The OnePlus Nord 2 is the company's first phone to have a MediaTek chipset; the Dimensity 1200 AI is a great pick, and the phone performs well with it. The Nord 2 also has a 65W rapid charging port that can charge to 100 percent in under an hour.

Price and availability of the OnePlus Nord 2-

The OnePlus Nord 2 starts at Rs 27,999 for the base 6GB+128GB version, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB+128GB configuration, and Rs 34,999 for the top end 12GB+256GB option. The Nord 2 comes in three colorways: Gray Sierra, Blue Haze, and Green Wood.

Bottomline-

With a starting price of Rs 27,999, the OnePlus Nord 2 is a genuine rival in the sub-Rs 30,000 price range. For a terrific price, you get a flagship design, commendable performance, and excellent cameras, making it one of the best value-for-money options on the market right now. In fact, I'll go on record as saying that the OnePlus Nord 2 has successfully retraced the company's flagship-killing roots.

The OnePlus Nord 2 does, however, face stiff competition from the Dimensity 1200-powered Realme X7 Max 5G (review) and the POCO F3 GT (review). Both of these phones have the same chipset, 64-megapixel cameras, and 120Hz AMOLED displays. Furthermore, the POCO F3 GT includes extra features like as shoulder trigger buttons and back-lit gaming-style led lights. Not to mention, these two are a thousand times better.

Pros-

Fluid and quick, with a pleasant enough display, solid ergonomics, 65W fast charging and a long battery life.

Cons-

Fluid and swift, with a good display, good ergonomics, 65W rapid charging, and a long battery life.
